A concrete coating is a high-performance polymer system bonded into your concrete, not painted on top. Revival installs polyurea and polyaspartic systems that bond chemically and mechanically to the slab and are 4× stronger than standard epoxy. We offer flake, quartz, grind-and-clear and solid-color systems for garages, basements, patios, pool decks and commercial spaces.

Every floor is diamond ground to CSP-3, the industry standard for maximum adhesion, using a grinder with an attached HEPA vacuum. About a third of every project is prep. We test each slab for moisture first and add a moisture vapor barrier when readings call for it. We never acid etch in place of mechanical grinding.

Yes. Most residential projects are done in 5 to 10 hours. You can walk on the floor after about 12 hours and drive on it after 24 to 36 hours.

Yes. Crack and spall repair is a standard part of every install. We fill cracks and chips with a 100% solids polyurea mender before coating. In many cases, coating is far more cost-effective than replacing the slab.

Our polyurea basecoat can be installed in temperatures as low as -40°F, a major advantage over epoxy in Iowa winters, so we install year-round. Cold weather does lengthen cure time: plan on about 24 hours before driving on the floor at 25°F or warmer, and about 36 hours when it's colder.

Coating steps and the short walls around your garage (verticals) gives the space a finished, wall-to-wall look and protects the areas that take the most scuffs and salt. It's an add-on we'll price at your consultation. The video walks through when it's worth it.

Yes. Many homeowners carry the coating onto the garage apron, entry steps or an adjoining patio so everything matches. Your consultant can show you what that would look like and price it on the spot.

It depends on the look you want and the slab. Filling saw cuts creates a seamless floor, while leaving them open lets the concrete move naturally. We'll go over the pros and cons for your floor at the consultation.

Polyurea is 4× stronger than standard epoxy, cures in hours, stays flexible through temperature swings and bonds permanently to properly prepared concrete. Epoxy is rigid, more sensitive to moisture and yellows in sunlight.

No. Our UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat resists yellowing and discoloration, even on sun-exposed patios and south-facing garages.

Our flake systems have a natural texture that adds grip, and we can add a slip-resistant additive to the topcoat for patios, pool decks, steps or any area that gets wet. Let your consultant know where you want extra traction.

Residential installs include a 15-year transferable warranty. Commercial installs carry a 5-year warranty.

Sweep or dust-mop for everyday dirt and rinse as needed; a squeegee clears water in seconds. For a deeper clean, use warm water with Dawn, Simple Green or Pine-Sol.
