Long-term care
Routine cleaning and a little care around chemicals and metal keep your floor looking new for years.
Avoid these
- Tire shine products (ArmorAll, Meguiar's, Black Magic). They cause yellow staining on the coating.
- Dragging metal objects, appliances or heavy equipment across the floor. Use a moving blanket or kick plate.
- Leaving metal tools or equipment sitting on the coating for long periods. Rust will stain.
- Metal snow scrapers. Plastic snow shovels are fine.
- Leaving rugs or furniture in the exact same spot for weeks during the first year. Slight fading can occur while the coating fully stabilizes.
