1. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy covers all information we collect about you, including:

  • Information you provide on our website (forms, quote requests, email signups)
  • Information collected automatically when you visit our site (cookies, analytics)
  • Information collected during the course of providing our services to you as a customer
  • Project documentation, photographs, and location data associated with completed jobs
  • Information shared with or processed by third-party platforms we use in our business operations

This policy applies to residents of Iowa and all other jurisdictions where we do business. For California residents, additional rights apply — see Section 11.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

When you contact us, request a quote, or engage our services, we collect:

  • Name, address, phone number, and email address
  • Project address and property details relevant to your service request
  • Payment information (processed securely through our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers)
  • Communications, preferences, and feedback you share with us

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website, we automatically collect certain technical information, including:

  • IP address and approximate geographic location
  • Browser type, device type, and operating system
  • Pages visited, time spent, and navigation behavior
  • Referral source (how you found our site)

This information is collected through cookies, pixels (including the Meta/Facebook Pixel), and third-party analytics tools such as Google Analytics. See Section 7 for more detail on cookies.

2.3 Project Documentation & Location Data

In the course of performing services at your property, we use CompanyCam, a field documentation platform, to capture project photographs and record the approximate location of each job. This data may be used to:

  • Document job quality and completion for our internal records
  • Generate project showcases and portfolio content on platforms such as Trusty (trusty.app)
  • Produce promotional materials for our website and social media channels

Project showcases display before-and-after photographs and an approximate project area on a map. We do not publish your name, full street address, or any other personally identifying information as part of these showcases. The map indicator shows a general neighborhood or area, not a precise property location.

By engaging our services, you acknowledge and agree to this project documentation practice. If you do not wish for your project to appear in public portfolio content, please notify us in writing prior to or at the time of service, and we will exclude your project from any public-facing promotional materials.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To provide, schedule, and fulfill the services you request
  • To communicate with you about your project, quotes, and service updates
  • To process payments and maintain billing records
  • To improve our website, services, and customer experience
  • To send you promotional communications (where you have opted in or we have a legitimate business interest)
  • To showcase completed project work in portfolios and marketing materials, as described in Section 2.3
  • To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from government authorities
  • To protect our rights, prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
